CCLS 25th Anniversary

During 2005, the Centre for Commercial Law Studies is celebrating its 25th Anniversary. The highlight of a number of events during the year was an Open Day on 5 July 2005, where CCLS welcomed everyone involved with the Centre to Charterhouse Square.

The highlight of the evening was a presentation to Sir Roy Goode, who founded the Centre in 1980, by Lady Diana Kerr, wife of the late Lord Justice Sir Michael Kerr, who was the first Chair of the CCLS Advisory Council.

In addition to Sir Roy, other past and present Directors of CCLS - Professors Janet Dine, Michael Blakeney, Chris Reed, Ian Fletcher, Ross Cranston, David Williams and Sir Basil Markesinis - were also present to mark the occasion.
